The Waikiki Stone Wall Boys - On The Beach Of Waikiki - Kostenloses Hörbuch

Marvelous duo from Hawaii formed by Joseph Punahele on steel guitar and Hiram Anahu. In the late 20's Columbia records sent recording engineers to Hawaii and recorded a bunch of artists there. This band was one of them, and even though not much information about them has been found The Hawaiin Music Collection website says that  "The Waikiki stone-wall was a popular venue, together with the pier that used to exist outside the Moana Hotel, for informal evening concerts by Waikiki's famous and talented beach boys, and it is from this pool of musicians that this recording group was drawn."  Columbia 1581-D.
