Weâve slid down the slope. An activist District Court judge named Clark Waddoups has struck down Utahâs law that makes polygamy a crime. And in doing so, he logically cited the same sex marriage issue. If we are bigots to tell consenting adults who want to call their homosexual relationship âmarriageâ that they are wrong to do so, then we must also be bigots to tell consenting adults who want to call their multiple relationships âmarriageâ that they are wrong. It isnât a slippery slope argument anymore. Itâs happening.
