Martin Hudson met a group of friends in a bar, to discus playing music they all wanted to hear that was not being played enough through  the usual corporate outlets,  Amongst these friends, the appetite for great rock music gave birth to the The  Classic Rock Society.  Martin explains this through his book "Rotherham Rocks the first 18 years" where an idea that grew into an unforeseen realisation,  in meeting and becoming friends with his greatest icons and promoting their gigs, and writing reviews and being endorsed by them.  Rotherham Rocks reads like a movie script in the making. Thank you to all who was involved as it bought about an amazing creativity that would have been otherwise buried!!
