Wow! These cities are totally awesome for you to consider as your new home! North Carolina. Mountain views, an awesome coast, lots of good jobs and great schools, and a low cost of living. It has the great smokies on one side and the outer banks on the other side. You can see why people from all over are moving to the Tar Heel State. With a population of over 10 million, North Carolina is the ninth largest state in the U.S. and it continues to grow. Some say it’s the best state in the country. I would agree. And, the people here are some of the friendliest around - it must be that southern charm. Overall, North Carolina is a great state to call home. But, as always, some cities are better than others - and today we’re talking about the ten BEST places to live in the Tar Heel State. To measure the best cities to live in North Carolina, we have to use two things - data and opinion. We’ve looked at a bunch of data, you know - crime, poverty, the quality of schools and home prices.
