Video: ANSYS 2020 Tutorial: 2-Way FSI of a Pipe Bend

Channel: DrDalyO

关于

ANSYS Workbench version 2020 R2 tutorial for a 2-way fluid structure interaction (FSI) of a 180 degree pipe bend using custom UDF velocity profile.

I will show you how to create the pipe bend geometry using SpaceClaim, followed by using a Transient Structural system, then a Fluent CFD system and finally joining the two using System Coupling.

ERROR TROUBLESHOOTING:

  1. If you get a floating point error during the solve, try changing the size of your mesh and validate its quality.

  2. If you get an error regarding the UDF function, ensure you clicked on INTERPRET in the fluent setup.

  3. If you need to make changes and run the coupling again, its best to completely remove the System Coupling system, CLEAR the generated solution data from Transient Structural as well as the solution data from Fluent and re-insert a System Coupling.
