In this Wool Care Guide I will demonstrate multiple ways to wash and lanolize wool diaper covers. We will look at hand washing, machine washing, and washing extra dirty wool. We will explore four options for lanolizing wool diaper covers: LIGHT level of lanolin with spray lanolin, MEDIUM level of lanolin with lanolin-rich wool wash, HEAVY level of lanolin with a lanolin bath made by emulsifying solid lanolin, and the dry lanolin method.
After washing a wool diaper cover, you can continue to lanolizing while it is still wet, or allow the diaper cover to dry before lanolizing. For long-term storage, wool diaper covers should be clean and dry, without any lanolin.
