The battle for ANC leadership is heating up ahead of the governing party's elective conference in December. Some of the presidential aspirants have started coming out for public endorsement from influential blocks in the provinces after months of lobbying behind the scenes. Contenders who are speculated to be set to challenge ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa include Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Lindiwe Sisulu, Dr. Zweli Mkhize, as well as current ANC deputy president David Mabuza.
