Video: ♡ Tutorial : Neon Sign Workflow

Okay guys! This is a more "put together" tutorial for how I make the neon signs for Second Life. In this tutorial I am using Photoshop, Blender & Maya to create the files. This is how I USED to make them. In my process now, I typically do not use Blender, however I can say that I miss how the previewing process is.

I have made a download that includes files I used in this tutorial. I will link that below. I've had this tutorial on my other channel for quite a while and I gave it to friends to test the process in which I teach. Every person I have shown this to was able to create cool content from it and not even limited to just neon signs. I have seen clothing, accessories, backdrops, decor, texture / unpacker huds and shoes with animated neon effects from this video. So I know it is explained properly and can help you get the ball rolling.

I cannot take full credit for knowing how this is done. Eden Voxel is the person who taught me how to make these signs and helped me learn the Blender parts. The both of us were inspired by Lindsey Warwick's work and wanted to expand with our own unique flair.

I feel like by posting this video, its paying it forward to the new creators that are coming in to the community and giving you the opportunity to learn a skill / product that is very popular right now.

Now, I have seen more complicated signs & techniques out on the grid. I am not the best modeler. I am not so fancy with Substance Painter and materials. This tutorial is rather basic, which leaves a TON of room for improvement. I trust you will add your own spin to it and I hope to see awesome content made from the tips.
