In celebration of Women's History Month, here are The Bangles, a female band from LA, playing their first gig at The Ritz nightclub in New York City. Recorded on 9/28/1984 and broadcast by WLIR FM in Long Island, NY.
This concert marked a coming of age for The Bangles, not long after the release of their debut album, All Over The Place, on Columbia_._ They would later release Walk Like An Egyptian & Prince's Manic Monday in their rise to fame.
