The Hugo Wolf Society was a subscription project for the recording of seldom heard Hugo Wolf Songs by great singers. Six volumes, each with five 30 cm records in an album, were published between 1932 and 1938 by His Master’s Voice. They contain some real great and classical recordings of songs of this fine composer. You can read the booklet of the reissue on CD with full informations to all recordings and singers, when you follow the Keyword „Hugo Wolf Society“.
