关于
Cornel West - Cornel West has a new memoir out with stories from his Sacramento childhood. Today on Insight, we'll talk with West about his book, his formative years and how he sees the world today. Crocker Book - The story of California's first "glamour girl" is told in a new book. It's about Aimee Crocker who was born into great wealth in 19th-century Sacramento and went on to lead a globe-trotting and sometimes scandalous life. Kevin M. Taylor - with a little help from Crocker, herself - wrote "Aimee Crocker's Refined Vaudville: Around the World With America's Most Intriguing Heiress" and it's being made into a screenplay. We'll talk with Taylor about Aimee Crocker and the book. MacArthur Fellow - UC Davis presents a new theater and dance piece from MacArthur Fellow Guillermo Gomez-Pena. You'll meet him and hear about the production, "Corpo-Ilicito: The Post Human Society 6.9." Granada Artist - In addition to "Corpo-Illicito," UC Davis is also presenting a new work from Granada Artist-in-Residence Sara Shelton Mann. You'll meet her and hear about "Tribes: the unified field."
