Today’s Sermon I Corinthians 13, A Hymn to Love - Love is the greatest attitude of all; tongues, prophecy, and any and all sign gifts are worthless unless exercised with the attitude of love. Our desire is to be for love, not tongues. When Paul uses the word ''tongues" here, he is referring to the sign gift of speaking in tongues. It is ironic that in the most eloquent words that flowed from Paul to the Corinthians he expressed himself in the most poetic way possible about the unimportance of the words when speaking of tongues.
