关于

A collection of Amiga community sound samples, originally shared on Archive.org as "Amiga Soundtracker Sample Packs (ST-XX)". This version of the collection is modified for use with Mozzi, an audio synthesis library for Arduino. The samples have the sample rate changed to 8192 Hz (without modifying the data), for easy auditioning on a computer without downsampling, and are slightly retuned to play back at the right pitch at that sample rate, to work easily with the Mozzi audio rate of 16384. Here is the description from the archive from which this one is derived: ------------------------------------------------- "I share these samples to preserve the cultural influence the Commodore Amiga has had on electronic music. Amiga's audio chip (PAULA) and its music making software like (Ultimate) Soundtracker, ProTracker and NoiseTracker create a distinct sound. I always loved the "Amiga music" when playing computer games as kid. I hope these samples will inspire people to keep using the Amiga sound. ST-01 and most of the samples from ST-02 were made by Karsten Obarski, who invented the tracker with his Ultimate SoundTracker." The rest is not known to me. For more info about SoundTracker see http://membres.multimania.fr/fonzo/hotp1-b.html I did not make this pack, here's what the collectors wrote: "all the ST-xx sample disks re-archived for modern convenience original LHA files downloaded from http://aminet.net/mods/inst november 9th 2008 all samples converted to wav for modern convenience, using SoX (http://sox.sourceforge.net). july 30th 2009 credits: -------- original aminet uploader: finn jacobs re-organized by: alex mauer wav-conversion by: motone renaming files: µB" ------------------------------------------------------- August 2012 sample rate set to 8192 using sox, and slightly retuned for use with Mozzi, the Arduino sound synthesis library: tb
