April 1945. Largest battleship ever built embarks on a suicide mission to attack Allies at Okinawa. The IJN Task force is intercepted by 48 US carrier based planes that focus purely on Yamato, sinking it in the process, after being hit by numerous bombs and total of 18 torpedoes (9 of which are duds, probably still pre 1944 Mk. 14s).
