His final publication takes an anthropological magnifying glass to the lives of Yoruba peoples in west Africa. The book’s subtitle reads: " their religion, manners, customs, laws, language, etc : with an appendix containing a comparison of the Tshi, Gã, Ęwe, and Yoruba languages".
