Giới thiệu
Project F is a collaboration of two artists, Michael and Sylvain. Sylvain being from Montreal, Canada and Michael from New York in the U.S. We have very different tastes in music but when we blend our styles and influences the results are quite pleasing and interesting. Those styles consist of light rock, progressive rock, jazz, funk , ambient and even a little hard rock. Currently we have just released our first CD entitled Farewell to The Millenium. It includes 11 tracks and totals just over 62 minutes. This album was created entirely with computers though one might have a hard time figuring that out if they didn't know. Our music is primarily instrumental. We throw enough twists and turns into every piece though to always keep the listener interested. ========================================== Here are some comments from some other musicans over at mp3.com: Fading Silence: I liked it. It does remind me of the Jethro Tull stuff, but it's modernized quite a bit. I like the melody and the instrumentation is superb!Funkin' Around: I liked this one even better. Really good tune and I love the build up at the end. Again, good melody, feel and terrific instrumentation! You guys are puttin' out some great stuff. Keep it up!----from Rhonda Watson------------------------------------I listened to both of your tunes. Two very original instrumentals. I really am not into this type of music but i really liked both of these songs. Great arangments! I will keep these!--- from James of Woody --------------------------------------------------------well crafted stuffcool music melodic and has an ancient and modern feel to it.--- from Sidewinder ------------------------------------------------------------I love your sound. I used to listen to a lot of Narada stuff, and it reminds a lot what I used to listen to.--- from LyingDan of Pignose Pickers --------------------I was listening to "Fading Silence" and had a massive Geddy Lee/Alex Lifeson flashback! *lol* Your pieces are so layered and complex, but they are tight and seem to almost have an ariadne's thread pulling you back into the same place. Very cool....With Funkin' Around I was picking up on some of the later Stewart Copeland feel -- kinda Equalizer/NYPD Blue meets Yanni. I can't get over how well you guys lay out a theme and manage to get all this other stuff wrapped around it so well. What really boggles my mind is the fact that Sylvain is in Montreal and you're in the U.S.. You guys have lifted collabortion to a new level, and do it justice. Very innovative. Ever think about shopping "Funkin' Around" out there in the tv show soundtrack circuit?---from Sue Braiden---
