Higher up the slopes of Tromsdalstinden / Sálašoaivi, closer to the treeline, a shallower stream shoots across a dam of rocks. At first I thought this was a natural accumulation of boulders but it coincides with where the earth has been flattened by footsteps following the occasionally-marked trail up the holy mountain.
