Sommarøy, North Norway / Sápmi - Rocky Headland - Sách nói Miễn phí

Sommarøy (lit. Summer Island) is one of more westerly islands of North Norway / Sápmi, accessed by a road bridge: due north is Svalbard, due east is Greenland / Kalaallit Nunaat. The rocky headland is found at the bottom of a small hill covered by coastal grasses. While we were there, local teenagers came to fish, aircraft and marine vessels could be heard as low frequency contributors to the acoustic atmosphere. The soundwalk 'conductor' who guided us to this location talked about its isolation and the opportunities it afforded for peaceful contemplation.
