WCSB Cleveland (89.3 FM) is a freeform/indie radio station broadcasting out of Cleveland, OH, USA. An early adopter of Internet streaming, WCSB began broadcasting online before it became the mainstream/norm. One of their programs was the Noise Rotation, a 2-hour show that rotated though different hosts each week and specialized in noisy, harsh, avant-garde, brutal, abrasive, odd, surreal, drone, electronic, industrial, challenging, and other weird programming. I managed to record the Noise Rotation for almost 2 years, from about May 2000 until May 2002...although due to scheduling changes and technical problems there are only 78 shows in this collection. All files are 16kHz 24kb/s cbr as recorded from the internet, cropped, and normalized. Some of the earlier episodes may have commercials/breaks removed, but the later shows definitely have them in-place for archival purposes.
