Digital Trip, a sub-label of Columbia, produced synthesizer covers of popular Japanese anime soundtracks throughout the 80s.

Heavy Metal L-Gaim Synthesizer Fantasy features 8 electronic covers of songs from the OST of the 1984 Sunrise anime Heavy Metal L-Gaim (重戦機エルガイム).

These songs were recorded from the 1985 vinyl release with light post-processing applied to reduce noise. All recordings are lossless.
