In part 2 of our symposium, Chris Bache speaks of his experience of going into “deep time” and what is really taking place during our current crisis or pivotal point of ecological foolishness – a process which will bring about an evolutionary crescendo where there is a collective death/rebirth of our species.  He sees a new consciousness being birthed, one of soul connectivity, completely open to one another, healed of our collective wounds.  Here we embody the divine as Diamond Souls (rather than the old ‘up and out’ cosmology), where future humans are cosmic citizens with intergalactic communion.   The more we cooperate with this (re)birth process the more it will speed up.  He says it is not 7 billion minds that have to change, but rather the very core of the collective mind of our species.

Chris then shares with us his experiences of the divine:  flows of intelligence, consciousness, life, love and compassion – ultimately entering into the super cosmic void of the divine plenum, the Cosmic Womb and Mother.  We then discuss the use of psychedelics, including doses, intentions, chemical and organic, and the integration necessary to ground the experiences.  Chris speaks of his balancing his spiritual work with his academic life, how it affected his teaching, courses and the ‘group field’ shared with his students.  Since his retirement from academia, he is now focusing on creating conversations with people interested in this field of deep transformation and to empower younger generations.

Finally, Chris shares his thoughts on the current and future legal policies of the use of psychedelics, as well as their use in therapeutic, philosophical and cosmological inquiry.  Chris calls us to remember who we are and that the Universe is alive and conscious.
