A man who rode a rented snowmobile across the U.S. border into Canada in 2005 to avoid charges that he hid up to $4 million in cash after declaring bankruptcy has been sentenced to 18 months in prison. The multi-millionaire who fled the U.S. on a rented snowmobile twelve years ago to hide in Canada will spend a year and a half in a federal prison.Cyril Gordon Lunn owned a construction and development business in Pepperell, Massachusetts and declared bankruptcy in 2001.But he'd hidden millions of dollars in cash in Canada and didn't tell anyone about it.Lunn was sentenced in federal court after pleading guilty to concealing assets and committing perjury.In 2005, Lunn rented a snowmobile in Maine, and rode it into New Brunswick. He remained a fugitive until last year.
