On a lonely hill, in a gloomy castle in which 13 clocks have all frozen at the same time, lives a cold, aggressive Duke and his niece the beautiful Princess Saralinda.

Many princes have come to woo her, but none have been able to complete the impossible tasks set them by the Duke ... so far, because a new prince, disguised as a minstrel, has come. However, it is doubtful whether even he can complete the Duke's latest task and win the Princess' hand ... not without the help of the mysterious (yet sometimes forgetful) Golux. Will this unlikely duo complete the Duke's task within the assigned time limit ... or will this prince become the latest to fall before the Duke's sword and be fed to the geese like so many before him?
