Our culture ascribes to a number of myths about sex. In This sermon we seek atom address each lie with truth:

• Lie:  it’s the most important thing in life vs. Truth:  It’s not - Jesus never had sex, and was the most fully-realized human being ever.

• Lie:  sexual desire/preference is “an identity” - same-sex, opposite-sex, “are you good at it” etc. vs. Truth: we are all images of God w/ a backstory, and sex is a tiny sliver of what it means to be human

Lie:  Movies/porn give us an honest picture/set of expectations about sex vs. Truth: real sex is relational, embodied, diverse, and unselfish.
