Four young musicians with nothing more in common than a good groove, coming together for one purpose - to bring the world closer together through the power of music. Primitive Reasoning is not afraid to tackle the difficult issues of today in their songs. And yet, they do it through the use of humorous storytelling and thought provoking lyrics. After Matt and Chuck met in 1992, who could have known that their one jam session would provide the spark which has turned into the brushfire of creativity that is now Primitive Reasoning. After having the Spinal Tap' syndrome for several years, playing in several bands together throughout the 90's, Matt and Chuck finally met up with drummer Don Mayall in late of 1999, and played out around town as 'Precious Roy'. In 2002 Precious Roy rose from the ashes and reformed as Primitive Reasoning. During this rebirth they solidified their line up with Doug Walker on piano, keys, and organ.
