Cleveland Jones' album "Shades Of Grey" is the latest release from Druid Records, an independent record label founded in 1986 in Los Alamitos, CA. The album is the third release from Cleveland Jones, which was 1 1/2 in the making. Previous works include "Propagandistic Utterances" - 1990, and "Says You" - 1993. Recorded at Pooderworks Studio in Trabuco Canyon, CA, "Shades Of Grey" combines funky bass grooves and guitar riffs with layered keyboards pads and rhythm programming. Along with stylized modern melodies, Cleveland Jones achieves a '90s blend of rock, pop, and funk. A few ballads on the album such as "Love Will Come Again" mix it up a bit, which makes the album flow, as no two songs sound exactly the same. Additional vocal harmonies by Annette Maree on songs such as "Running" create a great vibe and contrast to Jones' rhythmic vocal lines. According to Emil Jorge, venture capitalist, Cleveland Jones... "rocks the crap out of me."

Although no tour is planned, Cleveland Jones' music has an international appeal. His previous work can be heard in New Zealand, Russia, Greece, Turkey, and even India. This is the first time he has worked with producer Chris Ehler, and it's a combination that, in Jones' opinion, has "produced my greatest work to date."
