For your listening enjoyment comes this experimental Muzak-style CDi/CD-BGM program entitled Breakfast Barn Main.

This program is designed for a fictitious restaurant called Bill Barker's housed within a video game. It's essentially the result of my converting several disused Bob Evans restaurants within said video game. The story goes as follows: a Sim named Bill Barker started a breakfast and lunch restaurant within a small guest's quarters carved out of a barn on his farm over 70 years ago. One thing led to another, and now there are multiple Bill Barker's Breakfast Barns scattered all around SimCity. Despite the name, Bill Barker's also serves lunch and dinner, too.

The Breakfast Barn daypart would be played from around 11:00 AM when the lunch daypart begins until the restaurant closes at 7:00 PM. This daypart features country music from the '80s up to the present. Theoretically, the music would be played through a satellite delivery platform (think the Muzak Encompass LE or LE2); however, there may be locations where satellite isn't available and an on-premise delivery method is needed. That's where this experiment comes in. Of course, in the modern day in the real world, this would more than likely be handled by Mood's Profusion iS or Harmony systems...but we're talking about a video game world here so we get to pretend systems like the MCD-1000 CDi platform are still alive in some form!

A playlist is included for each track just like you'd get if this were a real MCD-1000 program. These files are also mastered and queued exactly as you'd expect if you were hearing this on an MCD-1000, so playing them concurrently from tracks 1-8 give you the virtual CDi experience.
