This collection features a collection of tracks taken from the 1991 CD reissue of M.I.U. Album, which accidentally included alternate mixes of some tracks, and scans of said CD.

It is fairly well known that the 1991 digitally remastered CD reissue of M.I.U. Album used incorrect master tapes for certain tracks, and they somehow managed to slip past quality control, which isn't surprising considering it's M.I.U. Album, who cares? (I do!)

Come Go With Me seems to be the original 15 Big Ones mix made by Brian, and you can really tell by the production. Again; how did this slip past quality control? It's the most popular track on the album, and the intro sounds completely different!

Peggy Sue features a more muddy mix compared to what was originally released, and the vocals seem to have a chorus effect added to them. The harmonies are comepletely missing, save for some "wee-ooh"s which are buried in the mix.

Winds Of Change is pretty interesting; there are more prominent harmonies throughout, the instrumentation is slightly different in places, and the lead vocals sound less prominent than how they later became.

I'd say this makes up for a fairly interesting companion EP to the actual M.I.U. Album. It's a shame that the 15 Big Ones mix of Come Go With Me hasn't seen a proper intended release as part of a box set such as Made In California, as I find it to be very interesting to compare and contrast with the finished product.
