Earlier this year, there was a plethora of local press coverage recounting the appalling plight of rent-regulated tenants in a Chinatown building--who were evicted because of poor conditions. Well, fast forward a few months and you’d never know these displaced tenants are STILL displaced, as the media has seemingly lost interest in their struggle--a situation that has been made worse by the city. With me to update us are two community organizers who have been fighting in the trenches for justice for these tenants, Zishun Ning, with Youth Against Displacement (YAD), and a part of Chinese Staff and Workers Association (CSWA), and Yanin Pena, with the  National Mobilization Against Sweatshops (NMASS).
