In this video we compare two different stays in the MIDLANDS. We spent three weekends in the Midlands in the month of May, because of weddings and a baby christening.

In the beginning of the month we stayed at the beautiful LYTHWOOD LODGE, it cost us R3000 for two nights, including breakfast and dinner. It was a very comfortable stay and a beautiful location. We recommend that you stay here if you don't want to do much exploring in the Midlands or if you are there for a function like a wedding.

Our second weekend we decided to stay in one of the cheapest AirBnbs we could find. We were there for a wedding and only stayed for one night. It cost us R500 for the night. It was a loft apartment and we wish we had a bit more time to stay there, especially to sit around the fire place. We recommend that you stay here if you just need a place to sleep, while you're out exploring the Midlands.

We also show you what CALDERWOOD HALL looks like as a wedding venue. It was the end of the month, funds were low and we decided to drive home after the wedding.
