We're back in the cabin but there's a problem...
The existing tin roof was already causing some issues with condensation inside the cabin, but after painting the ceiling, brown watermarks were starting to show through in a number of places. We soon discovered that parts of the roof were starting to rot, caused by the existing metal roof being laid directly onto the wood. A replacement was required as a matter of urgency and so that became the next job on the list and the subject of this week's episode! Now we have a lovely, new wiggly tin roof and will be sharing the finished cabin reveal in our next episode.
