I show how to add pizzazz to woodturning using a shopmade Rotary Texturing Tool similar to the Henry Taylor Decorating Elf tool to increase the tactile and visual appeal of woodturning. I demonstrate how to add embellishments to turning projects using a shop made rotary texturing tool using a Dremel burr. I also show how to use a cove tool, a point tool and metallic wax to emphasize the texturing. The primary strength of this tool is its simplicity in adding a small feature to a box or bowl bottom.
