Fr. Patrick Cahill explains how God is not whoever we say He is. God created us. We cannot create our Creator. God has revealed Himself so that we can know Him. He tells us who He is. God is Father. The Holy Spirit is love. Jesus is our Redeemer, our Saviour. Jesus comes from the Father and He knows the Father. He teaches us who the Father is. Jesus brings us to the Father. We are invited into this. But we do not dictate to God what He can or cannot do. Our faith is so much about receiving what God offers, receiving the grace.
