My Guests today are Mark Schofield (Skofield)and Kyle White from the Opportunity Council. The Opportunity Council is non-profit Community Action Agency servicing Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan Counties.
Mark Schofield serves as the manager of the Community Energy Challenge, a community energy efficiency program for residential, multi-family and commercial buildings. He has 20 years of experience as an educator and organizer in the non-profit sector, most recently providing in-home assessments and education for low-income families, with a focus on improving indoor air quality and enhancing home energy performance. Kyle White is the Program manager for the Low Income Weatherization program.. Kyle has been with the Opportunity Council for over 20 years working in multiple roles related to home energy efficiency and weatherization. Kyle has a degree in Environmental Health from Purdue University.
