• This tour can be taken any day of the week, at any time. The famous Union Square Greenmarket operates Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between 8 am and 6pm. The market does not impede the tour, but it might slow you down just a bit - especially if you're tempted by beautiful, organic fruits and vegetables.

• During the Christmas season there is a holiday market that operates on the south side of the park.

• This is a short Detour, easy to fit in during a busy day!
