Since December 2009, The Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History & Nature (C-SAAHN) has sponsored the Tuesday 'IMAGINE' Noon-Hour Lecture/Discussion Series at the Downtown Buffalo & Erie County Central Public Library. This is the 143rd C-SAAHN 'IMAGINE' Lecture. The first fifty in the "IMAGINE' Series (Dec. 2009 - Dec. 2011) were titled, "IMAGINE Buffalo Niagara in the 21st Century." Starting in 2014, there is one primary IMAGINE Series theme for the first four Tuesdays,"IMAGINE a Healthy, Wealthy, & Sustainable Community" with weekly sub-themes: 1st Tuesday - Why The Arts Matter 2nd Tuesday - Appreciating Buildings & History 3rd Tuesday - Appreciating the Past & The Art of Investing Locally for Tomorrow 4th Tuesday - Exploring Nature & Celebrating Milestones of Science & Imagination Another primary theme will be developed on the occasional 5th Tuesdays: "IMAGINE Lifelong Learning and Buffalo Niagara as a Bi-National Cultural Center" The 4th Tuesday speakers on this C-SAAHN AUDIO are Michelle Kavanaugh, Ed.D., NYS STEM Hub Facilitator & Nancy Sterman, Director of Education, Young Audiences WNY.
