Since 2009, The "Art of Investing" Discussion Group has met every Monday during the summer season at Chautauqua Institution. The group members, led by Dennis Galucki, a retired financial advisor, are encouraged to share their insights and personal experience with investing. Galucki's twin investment rules and ideas provide the basis for much of the discussion: First, know what you own and why you own it; Second, appreciate the disciplines of balance and performance measurement. Attendees and audio listeners are encouraged to consult their own investment advisors and not take any part of the discussion as an investment recommendation without further study.
