Early in the 2010s Muzak had a streaming service on their Web site from which one could listen to simulcasts of 10 of their more popular satellite feeds, for free (curiously, Environmental was absent) and this was one of them. Consequently, many hours of enjoyment were had from the service between 2012 and its demise, due to a Web server restructuring and complete site redesign because of the Mood Media buyout, in spring 2015.

The audio is 32 kHz/64 Kb mono MP3; similar encoding parameters of their MP2 DVB service on AMC-1 (now SES-3). I don't remember what the start/end times of this capture were but back then I typically would capture from around 1200-0000 Pacific (1500-0300 Eastern). Twelve hours of MP2/3 audio at 64 Kb is around 330 MB on disk, so 24 hours of audio would fit easily on a single CDR... perfect for playing in the car.

Since the weather is expected to be crap (well, here anyways) for the next couple weeks, turn the furnace as high as it'll go, put the sunlamp on and crank the stereo up.

This audio is exactly as it came off the Internet in 2013 and has not been modified or transcoded. The only edit I made was to trim the song fragments off the beginning and ending of the block using MP3SPLT, otherwise the programme is untouched.
