This interview was conducted with Louis Malcom "Mac" Simpson from Ocean City, MD. In this interview, he shares some of his memories about Assateague Island and its changes over time. He recalls his memories from his childhood in the 1940s including fishing on the island, the Masonic lodge that existed at that point, and hunting fox on the island; he shares many stories of exploits around the island involving fishing and friends. He also talks about the changes that occurred after the National Park Service became involved on the island and some of the more natural changes from erosion and weather.
