Deriving it's title from the low-points in life which can destroy a persons will to be optimistic, The Negative Effect is W.H.'s latest musical contribution. Recorded at OarFin Records Studios in Minneapolis, this soon to be released ten song independent CD will no doubt break barriers as to where modern metal is headed. Combining modern metal elements along side their peers and contemporaries with a personal history of disgust for half truths in an egotistical society, The Negative Effect is a musical interpretation of W.H.'s steady flow of anger. There's another time and place for smiles, Wretched Hive is not that place. The writing was done over an eight month period and the actual recording is in its final stages of completion as explained by T., "The music and arrangements came together quickly once the creative machine got going." T. adds, "And working in this state of the art studio will only strengthen the already thick sound." With lack of an original heavy music scene and the "alternative" bandwagons circling, W.H. started as a recording project gone angry. They took their disgust by the reigns to create W.H's 1995 self-titled demo. Favorable reviews from the metal underground and increased local interest led them to take the stage. The band is in rehearsal for upcoming live dates to follow the release of the CD. # # #
