Crystal Skies is a dynamic northeastern Pennsylvania based group whose music contains an extraordinary mix of blues and psychedelic rock.

Percussionist Mark Montella's diverse background spans Jazz to Blues ­ Broadway to the Bowary.

Bassist Frank Savaro's classic rock expertise brought him from award winning 60's experiences to national TV. Both have several years experience in many musical genres.

Scott Nichols, guitarist, adds the psychedelic aura. He is strongly influenced by the classic sounds of the past that encouraged mind expansion.

The bluesy attitude is instilled by guitarist Mike Savaro. His inspiration comes from the founders of traditional blues.

Frank and Mark support the melody created by the talented guitarists, while Mike and Scott bring together the diverse music of their backgrounds. It forms the unique and multifaceted sound of Crystal Skies. This is fully demonstrated on their full length self-titled CD.

Fourteen original songs are included on the Crystal Skies debut album. These songs are as diverse as the background of the musicians who produced them. The compositions included on the CD mix all the instrumentalist's backgrounds to create a plethora of musical colors.

The band's ability to improvise guarantees that live shows are exciting and energetic.
