Elmendorf AFB Anchorage, Alaska circa 1973 - Free Audiobook

Shortwave radio transmissions from Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska could be received here in southern Ontario, Canada on occasion in the early 1970's.  They used 8989 kHz and operated in USB mode.  In this recording circa 1973, you can hear their signal being tuned in with the BFO on a  Realistic DX150A receiver.  The signal is finally tuned in so that it is readable just a few seconds before identification is given and the transmission ends.
