Panoptica, a name that needs no introduction, anyone who has been aware of electronic music made in Mexico during the last 3 decades has undoubtedly heard it, Behind this project is Roberto A. Mendoza, part of the bustling music scene in the north of the country since the late '80s, founding member of Artefakto, a pioneering post-industrial electro sound band, later he would be part of the Nortec Collective, recognized worldwide for fusing elements of typical music from the north of the country with electronic sounds, after separating from said group, he created the 'Nortec Panoptica Orchestra', for his live performances and with which he has released two LP's. R. Mendoza is his most personal alias, in which he explores sounds closer to Ambient, IDM, and intimate sound abstraction. For his session he put together a conceptual mix called "Madrugada Eterna".
