A spotlight in this show on two very similar records with a LOT of percussion and some vocals as well. I've heard a lot of these sorts of records over the years, but these two are particularly stripped-down to the basics, and although pretty scratchy, I think they are great examples of the percussion/exotic afro-latin rhythms/ type.

We start with the entire lp from 1959 Taboo by Cawanda's Group, and fill out the latter half of the show with a good chunk of African-Latino Voodoo Drums from 1963, by Choco and His Mafimba Drum Rhythms.
