As Madison braces for another heavy snow fall, the city council will decide whether it will spend $100,000 (from an emergency contingency fund) so Trek can put up for-profit bike kiosks. Madison is far less equipped to handle the snow than in the past and yet we still seem to find the money to give the bike lobby whatever they desire. Mayor Dave has consistently picked bike pet projects over plowing the streets, that's why I've decide to support Paul Soglin for Mayor.
