Irmgard Fatheuer sits with us at her favorite window place overlooking the huge trees in the garden behind the church. Irmgard was born in this house in 1926 and has lived here ever since. Listening to the birds and the wind in the trees, she tells us about the sounds she can still hear in her memory... her father in the bakery downstairs.

One sound features strongly, and comes in live... (it's the traditional bell calling for the prayer called "Angulus" in the Catholic Church; it rings at 7am, 12 noon and 7 pm)

Wir sitzen mit Irmgard Fatheuer an ihrem Fensterplatz und blicken in die grossen Bäume des Kirchgartens. Irmgard ist 1926 in diesem Haus geboren… Geräusche aus der Erinnerung mischen sich ins Jetzt. Es gibt unendlich viel zu erzählen…

Irmgard Fatheuer was a teacher for children with learning difficulties. She's a gifted drafts-women; and till today, very active in the local St. Josef parish. In 2007, Irmgard Fatheuer was honored with the “Bundesverdienstkreuz” of the German Government for her dedicated work with children.
