Where do I begin? From the day I was born, I was a fan. Rocky embodied everything I aspired to be. He motivated me to be a better person, to rise up against the challenges and get back up when they knocked me down. Rocky really is the 'every man'. Stallone is Rocky, Rocky is Stallone, and we are all Rocky too. If we choose to be. I started this podcast after the 40th Anniversary of Rocky and I had intended for this episode to be the first in the series. However, I was knee-deep in material to sift through, edit, merge and finally, present. And I am a bit of a perfectionist. So I wanted this episode to be the best ever. And the big decision came down to whether I wanted this to just celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Rocky or 40 Years Of Rocky as a whole. I chose to go whole. From Rocky in 1976 to Creed in 2015, and everything in between. To celebrate the movies, the character, the creator. Because this is where it all started. Not just for Stallone, but also for us fans. This is the genesis. And so, it should be epic. Hopefully, you will enjoy the fruits of almost a years worth of labor. Much of it was going through material and making decisions.
