My eighty-seventh lesson with Mr. Bodman. We played Rode Caprice Nos. 9 and 10, excerpts from the second and third movements of Shostakovich Symphony No. 10, and the first movement of Beethoven Sonata No. 1. We then tested four violins, two from Cleveland Violins, and two from The Loft Violin Shop in Columbus.
