Georg Meerwein (Bickensohl, 03.05.1932 - Bamberg, 25.12.2016): German oboist and english horn player. Studied church music first, then oboe with Friedrich Plath and Horst Schneider. Lived and worked in Bahia, Brazil from 1958-1961. First oboist of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra from 1961-1996. Also played in the Bamberg Wind Quintet.

Wilhelm Krumbach (Neustadt bei Coburg, 25.07.1937 - Speyer, 27.08.2005): German harpsichordist, organist, musicologist.
