This is the fourth of Burrough’s Tarzan novels. Alexis Paulvitch, a henchman of Tarzan’s now-deceased enemy, Nikolas Rokoff, survived his encounter with Tarzan in the third novel and wants to even the score. (adapted from Wikipedia)
Sorry, Mr. Snelson, but I was rather disappointed in your reading of this book at times. The accents for Norwegian, Arabian, and British all tended to have the same accent. I generally thoroughly enjoy listening and I did this time except for the "accents". The book was a bit annoying at the beginning and I almost quit listening, but I persevered to the end. With those problems, I give it a lower rating. Two less stars for each strike.
Every chapter stops before the end Please fix otherwise thanks
It so so pleasant to follow a narrative where the good guys (and gals) win. Once I started this story I rushed home to hear more of it. There is an appeal to young and old.
There were times I didn't like the voices given some of the women, but other than that, good reader. Excellent story.
Very good book! I cried like a baby during the last chapter. And one of my favorite narrators. Excellent job as always Ralph Snelson!
